A Few Words About Our Founder and CEO:

Luis Perdomo was born in Cali, Colombia. Raised by DEAF family members, he soon realized the importance of the communication factor (interpretation) between the hearing impaired and those who did not understand sign language. For many years he, along with his siblings, had to serve as an interpreter for his mother and grandparents in situations that required clear communication.

At the age of 9, he moved to the United States with his parents. Growing up, he would always have to interpret for them, but once he arrived to the US, he would now be the one who needed interpreting since he didn't know how to speak English. Once he learned to be fluent in English, he also learned ASL (American Sign Language.)

As a polyglot, fluent in Spanish, Colombian Sign Language, English and ASL, he became a freelance interpreter in New York City. Such experience cultivated his passion for interpreting, which led to launch Lets Chat Global LLC in 2021.

As Founder and CEO, Luis Perdomo dedicates his time and energy to ensuring that the experience of looking for an interpreter/translator is seamless by providing users with the Lets Chat Global app. The platform allows users to request an interpreter in a matter of minutes and/or request translation services just as quickly.
